MONTERREY, NL. (Jan. 04, 2021) – Traduality Language Solutions officially announced today the appointment of Cory Gomez as Chief Technology Officer effective December 1, 2020. Cory is the first CTO in the company since it was founded in 2009.

“Cory’s appointment as CTO is the first step toward pursuing a larger technology-wise goal,” said Diego Achío, Traduality’s founder and CEO. “Our company started out with me behind a computer at my parent’s house, so it is very touching to see it grow to the point a talented software engineer like Cory finds value in what we do and feels identified with our mission and vision. The upcoming months will be paramount for Traduality’s future in terms of its technological offering, Cory will be working both in a new project that will introduce Traduality to the SaaS industry and with our localization team to become familiar with our current B2B services and find opportunities to combine them with the latest technologies.”

“When I was first approached about the opportunity to join Traduality, I was ecstatic.,” said Gomez. “With everything going on in the world, everyone shifting to a more remote learning/working environment, I see plenty of potential for us to grow and tap into a market that has been overlooked until recently. I am planning on utilizing modern tools and technologies to revolutionize the translation and interpretation market. I can’t wait to add my technical expertise to the team and make our vision a reality.”

Cory Gomez, 27, holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minor in systems security engineering from California State University Channel Islands. He started his career in financial tech software as an entry level engineer and from there was recruited to work in the accessibility market serving software as a service. In early 2019 he was promoted to senior software engineer and has planned, managed, and developed products and migrations since. He has picked up knowledge and experience in the cloud computing and machine learning space along the way and has found best practices in using these technologies at a production level.
